Issues In Educational Research

A Journal especially for beginning researchers

Issues in Educational Research is a journal published by the Institutes for Educational Research in NSW, NT, SA and WA. It began right here in Western Australia with the Western Australian Institute for Educational Research (WAIER) and has more recently gone national.

Issues in Educational Research is devoted to all aspects of educational research and to the full gamut of epistemologies within this field of inquiry.

We welcome contributions to this journal from both established and beginning researchers. If you want to discuss an idea for an article, please feel free to contact the Western Australian member of the Editorial Advisory Board:

Beginning researchers' work is given particular encouragement in the editorial process so please think about communicating your research findings, work in progress or methodological concerns to IIER. Researchers like to read about your work.

The Western Australian Institute for Educational Research Forum is being held this year on 19 August, at Edith Cowan University Mt Lawley Campus. The Forum is a wonderful opportunity to present your research, even in progress, and then to refine your presentation for publication in the IIER. For further information about the forum please see Forum Registration.
